With in the World Consumer Day, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), held an online discussion on the protection of consumer rights and access to basic services.
The meeting was attended by Sergo Sanikidze, Head of the Consumer Rights Protection Department of the Georgian National Competition Agency, Teresa Moreira, the Head of the Competition and Consumer Policies Branch at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and Rebeca Grynspan, Secretary-General of the UNCTAD.
At the meeting, parties discussed the experiences of various countries, international organizations and experts.
On March 13-17, the first International Week on the Protection of Consumer Rights was held in Georgia, organized by the 6 regulatory bodies, where the Head of the Competition and Consumer Policies Branch at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Teresa Moreira, addressed the participants.
