Dr. Dan Virgil Pascu is the Vice-president of the Romanian Competition Council since 2021. Prior to his appointment he acted as an attorney at law with the Bucharest Bar Association specialized in competition and environment law.

He holds, since 2010, a PhD in competition law (European Competition Law) at the Faculty of Legal Studies of the Karl Eberhard University of Tübingen in Germany, developing a thesis on the companies’ rights of defense during the competition proceedings of the European Commission.
