Izabella Szoboszlai has been a member of the Competition Council of the Hungarian Competition Authority since 2012. She graduated in economics from Budapest University of Economics in 1997, than in law from ELTE Faculty of Law in 2004. In 2020, she has completed the digital economic specialist LLM training at Károli Gáspár Református University, now she is one of the lecturers of the training.

She has been working at the Hungarian Competition Authority since 1998. She started her carrier as a case handler at the Competion Policy Section and had worked for the Consumer Section for more than four years. She was head of the Costumer Service Section of the authority between 2011 and 2012.

At the Competition Council she is „specialized” in consumer protecion cases: she has signed in this field more than 150 resolutions as rappourter of the competent competition council.
