SPEAKERS

Sophie Okhanashvili has over 23 years of professional experience in the media industry. She graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Tbilisi State University and holds a Master’s degree in Television and Radio Journalism.

Over the course of her career, she has worked across print, radio, and television media. She currently serves as the author and host of a business program on Rustavi 2 and also holds the position of Head of the Public Relations Department at Tbilisi State Medical University.

In addition, Sophie oversees the publishing activities of  Paata Gugushvili Institute of Economics at Tbilisi State University. She is a co-founder of the media consulting firm Consulting #1 and the non-governmental organization Ekomedia. Sophie also delivers lectures and conducts training sessions in the field of media.
