Since 2017, Mariam has been working at the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia. In 2025, she was appointed Head of the Consumer Protection and Financial Education Division within the Legal Department. She has over eight years of experience in the insurance sector.

Her professional background includes legal practice, developing the regulatory framework for consumer rights protection in the insurance sector, and overseeing compliance in this area. Over the years, Mariam has also been actively involved in numerous financial education initiatives in the insurance sector, contributing to the advancement of insurance awareness and culture in Georgia in line with international standards.
