Shahla Eyvaz-zada
Head of the Legal Acts Sector of the Legal Department, the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control of Republic of AzerbaijanShahla Eyvaz-zada is a highly accomplished lawyer with extensive expertise in competition law and economic policy, combining practical legal experience with strong academic credentials. She holds an LL.B. from Baku State University, an LL.M. in Business Law from the University of Vienna, and has completed advanced programs at Stanford University (Summer Program on Understanding US IP Law) and MIT (Micromaster in Data Economy and Development Policy).
Following an internship at Siemens Headquarters in Vienna, Austria, Ms. Eyvaz-zada advanced her professional career as a Senior Legal Consultant at the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control. In this role, she contributed significantly to legislative development, serving as a member of the Working Group on Drafting the Competition Code of Azerbaijan and the Working Group on Drafting Secondary Legislation under the Procurement Law of Azerbaijan.
Currently Shahla Eyvaz-zada serves as the Head of the Legal Acts Sector within the Legal Department.
