International and Government Engagement Lead Consumers InternationalÉrico is the International and Government Engagement Lead at Consumers International. A qualified lawyer with a Master’s degree in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, specialising in Consumer Rights, he brings extensive experience in public policy and institutional relations, fostering collaboration across the private sector, public institutions, and civil society. He is responsible for shaping and representing Consumers International’s presence in global fora, including UNCTAD, the OECD, ICPEN, and others.
Previously, Érico served as President of the Association of Consumer Protection Agencies of São Paulo, representing around 400 agencies. With professional experience spanning the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Érico offers a comprehensive and strategic perspective on consumer protection and advocacy.
