Tomasz Chróstny

President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (Poland)

Tomasz Chróstny has served as the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection since his appointment by the Prime Minister on 27 January 2020. He also has academic experience as a lecturer at the Warsaw School of Economics.

From 2019 to 2020, he held the position of Vice-President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. He has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, including work at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland and at the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, where he served as Director of the Department of Economic Analysis.

He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He is married and has four children.
