Ekaterine Tsereteli

Deputy Head of the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgi

From 2001 to 2006, and again from 2013 to the present, Ekaterine Tsereteli has been actively involved in the work of the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia. Since 2015, she has served as the Deputy Head of the Service, where she oversees the development and harmonization of legislative regulations — including insurance industry standards — with European norms, as well as supervising areas related to licensing/registration and international relations.

A lawyer by profession, Ms. Tsereteli has extensive experience collaborating with financial institutions and international partner organizations, which has significantly contributed to the integration of Georgia’s insurance market into the European regulatory framework.

In addition to her work within the insurance regulatory system, Ms. Tsereteli has held managerial positions in both the public and private sectors over the years.
