Tamta Margvelashvili

Actively engaged in law-drafting, she frequently presents at national and international conferences and serves as an independent expert in these fields.
Tamta is currently pursuing her Ph.D at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Her research focuses on competition law enforcement for sectoral regulators in Georgia under EU footprints. She holds an LL.M. in International and European Business Law from KU Leuven, Belgium. From September 2022 to October 2023, she served as a research fellow at the Institute for German and European Economic Law, Competition Law, and Regulatory Law at the Free University of Berlin. Alongside her legal practice, Tamta is an invited lecturer at Georgian National University and Ilia Chavchavadze State University in Tbilisi. She has received number of scholarships, grants, and participated in various exchange programs in the EU and beyond. Her academic contributions include multiple articles and book chapters published in national and international forums.
