Peter Lundy possesses over 40 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. Following a distinguished tenure in senior managerial roles at British Telecom, he has led more than 25 projects across 40 countries worldwide as an independent consultant. His primary areas of expertise include the development of competitive digital markets, the formulation of electronic communications policies, and the implementation of legal, technological, and regulatory reforms.
Mr. Lundy has directed numerous projects funded by the European Commission, including strategic initiatives aimed at supporting non-EU countries throughout the accession process. Additionally, he led telecommunications market assessment projects commissioned by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) across more than 30 countries. These assessments focused on analyzing market competitiveness and evaluating investment conditions to foster broadband infrastructure development. In Georgia, Peter Lundy currently collaborates with the Communications Commission, assisting in the implementation of EU market analysis methodologies to enhance competition across retail and business telecommunications segments.
