Goga Gulordava
Chairman of the Communications Commission
Goga Gulordava is a lawyer by profession with 28 years of professional experience across both the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining the Communications Commission (ComCom), he served for two years at Imedi TV as a Financial Monitoring and Audit Officer.
From 2020 to 2025, Mr. Gulordava worked at the Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE), initially as Advisor to the General Director and subsequently as Director of Internal Audit.
Between 2016 and 2020, he was a Member of the Parliament of Georgia. Prior to his parliamentary tenure, from 2013 to 2016, he served as Governor (Gamgebeli) of the Tsalenjikha Municipality.
From 2011 to 2013, Mr. Gulordava held the position of Director of Oxford Medical Georgia, a Georgian-Israeli joint medical clinic. Between 2009 and 2011, he worked as a Legal Counsel at Media Alliance LLC.
Earlier in his career, he served for two years as Director of the Georgian Forestry Consulting Center. From 2008 to 2009, he was a lawyer at the Tbilisi Legal Center (TLC).
Between 2000 and 2007, Mr. Gulordava held a number of positions at the Chamber of Control of Georgia (the predecessor of the State Audit Office). His responsibilities included serving as Chief Inspector and Lead Controller within the Department of Reforms and International Relations, Lead Controller in the Internal Control and Special Assignments Division, and Lead Controller in the Department of the Real Sector and Privatization between 2004 and 2005. He also held the position of Chief Controller within the same department.
Before joining the Chamber of Control, he worked for two years as a Legal Adviser at Universal LLC.
Mr. Gulordava graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, where he studied from 1995 to 2000.
Throughout his career, he has completed numerous professional training programs in customs and tax legislation, public procurement, financial accounting, auditing, and prosecutorial practice in Georgia and abroad, including in the United States and Germany. In addition, he has successfully passed the Prosecutorial Qualification Examination.
