Graduated from the University of Cumbria, UK in 2014 with a Master of Business Administration degree. In 2005 - 2006, she took various courses in the United States under the auspices of the John F. Kennedy Government School at Harvard University. In 1994, she graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, completed her postgraduate study and got a Ph.D. in Economics. 

Ph.D. in Economics, Natia Turnava from June 2022 to June 2029 is a Member of the Board of the National Bank of Georgia, and from June 2023, First Vice – Governor of the NBG. 2019-2022 Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
