Cosmin Belacurenu
Member of the Board, Secretary of State at the Romanian Competition CouncilHe is member of the board of the National Competition Authority of Romania since 2017. Prior to his appointment as member of the board, from 2014 to 2016 he held the position of director of State Aid Department and, between 2007 – 2014, he was competition inspector. He started his career in public administration in the Ministry of European Integration in 2004 and he graduated in economics at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. His fields of expertise include state aid, antitrust and European affairs and international relations.
He has been lecturer at various international conferences, seminars, workshops and bilateral meetings with other National Competition Authorities delivering lectures and presentations of antitrust enforcement issues and state-aid, speaker within the Romanian Competition Council advocacy campaigns contributing to the improvement of the knowledge and dissemination of the competition culture.
