Georgia will host the II International Conference on Enforcement of Competition Policy and Protection of Consumer Rights from November 16-18, 2023. As part of the conference, Georgia will receive a working visit from three distinguished guests: William E. Kovacic, Professor of Global Competition Law and Policy at the George Washington University Law School and Director of the Competition Law Center, Teresa Moreira, Head of Competition and Consumer Policy at UNCTAD, and Ori Schwartz, Head of the OECD Competition Division.

The conference is scheduled to welcome delegations from up to 20 countries and it is planned to visit the first person in the competition and consumer sector from 10 different countries.The three-day conference will consist of nine thematic sessions, where up to 50 local and international experts will discuss the results and challenges of competition and consumer rights protection in a joint format. The event will host approximately 300 guests, including government and parliamentary members, local and international experts, public authorities, regulatory bodies, academia, media, and business sector representatives.

The three-day event will jointly organize by the Georgian National Competition Agency, the National Bank of Georgia, the National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission of Georgia, the Communications Commission and the State Insurance Supervision Service of Georgia.

The aim of the annual "Competition and Consumer Rights" conference is to enhance competition policy and consumer rights mechanisms in Georgia.
